All our African Arabica coffees are roasted in a Medium or City Roast profile spectrum. This means that the beans are roasted to produce the optimum flavour and aroma for their unique characteristics. The light roasted coffees, whilst released soon after the “first crack” of roasting, are still fully rounded in their taste – unlike much lighter roasts, which tend to be insipid, weak and often bitter. Coffees which are delicate, aromatic and easy drinking fall into this category. Applications like coffee presses, manual drip filters are well matched to these beans.
